This series is a real gem! the story and humour is really good and doesn’t insult the intelligence. Thanks Wingtip for releasing and introducing what looks to be a great series.

Oh my…this is such a wonderful, wonderful manga! The characters are so interesting and real, the narrator insightful and the pictures of wagashi and sweets are so delicious! I want to try one!!! :] Please please continue with this!!

That was so touching…I don’t even know why, it just was. The fact that sometimes siblings can understand each other so well despite clashing… and the ramen detail, so small yet so meaningful.
oh and i love the pictures at the end of each chapter. Keep it up please do!

After reading chapter 11 and 12 I must say I really like the father of Hina, Arare and Hana. He’s such a kind, gentle man! <3<3 His “I love your mom most” totally melts my heart~ It’s nice to read the stories of when they’re children, I hope there’ll more of the times after Kenji came. Heehee!

Thank you for the releases and happy new year!!!!!
I just read the latest chapters and this manga is sooooo good. Hinoyama is just a ***** how could he do that to Hina? I would have beat him to pulp. And that lady too, she deserves a good whack on the butt that will make her unable to strut around like she’s all great.
Lol, sorry I’m just too passionate about this story.

Thank you so much for these series!!! I absolutely adore every single character, and I want to thank you for letting them come alive for us to understand them. The Wagashi section at the end of each chapter is amazing, too. Anyways, thank you SO much!!!!!!!

Uwah, the chapter’s ending is so surprising!! That was a really big jump. I hope their relationship will be okay…I like hinoyama-san xD.
Thank you for the new chapter !

Ahhh! What did the letter from Iori say? That was left hanging!! T^T
Comment by mm — February 27, 2010 @ 1:22 am
Wow.. I was a bit spectacle about starting this series, but now I’m hooked! XD
I agree with mm though, I’m terribly curious as to what the letter says! I thought Iori wrote to “break up” with her >__>”
Anyways, keep up the great work!
An unlucky star indeed OAO”
Comment by Momoko — February 28, 2010 @ 11:04 am
OMG!! The latest chapter totally made me O.O!!! I’m shocked! I wonder what Hina is planning? =( Whatever it is, I don’t think she’s very happy. Sighs. I think it will take a long time for her to accept Hinoyama. But I think in the end it’ll be worth it! ^^;;

Top-notch scanlation work! Thank you for the hard work. I didn’t immediately notice this series is 15 years old already and was wondering about the rather ghastly character designs but the age explains a lot. However, the story, characters, dialogue, and other aspects more than make up for it.
Comment by Kraco — March 15, 2010 @ 8:44 pm
Okay, I know that I’ve said thank you repeatedly, but I want to say another thank you! This series has totally enchanted me in ways you would not believe! I love the story, characters, artwork, and well, EVERYTHING! I hope that you guys can keep up the good work! It makes my day every time there is a new release on Fukuyadou Honpo! THANK YOU!!!!!!

This is one of my favorite mangas ever. Thank you guys so much for introducing it to us, scanlating it, and giving us chapters and such amazing speeds! I am really loving the complexity of the characters (especially Hina and her amazing inner strength!) and the family dynamics.
THANK YOU GUYS!

i was surprised to find that i like this series, considering that i’m such a visual person where cute drawings will be the first consideration in picking up a series to read ~embarrassed~
luckily i gave this a shot, and now i am always looking forward to the new chapter release
thanks for bringing such good series, keep up the good work :)
and the wagashi are so yummy-looking ~slrrrrp~

i’m a big fan! i’m a regular follower of Oishii Kankei on onemanga! they’re extremly well done!
(i’ve been a fan of Makimura sensei for a long time as well, read his other works from Thai manga.)
so when ch. 37 wasn’t posted i got a little anxious and found this site!
making me read Fukuyado Honpo straight!
it’ll be great if you can post updates soon! i’m suffering from withdrawal.. :):)
thanks so much for your wonderful work!

Love this project so much.
Despite the art, I read this series and was instantly hooked by the great storytelling and its interesting characters. I cannot hate any of the sisters or their love interests! There is so much character development in this story and I’m so thankful that Wingtip is doing such a great job of translating it!
I especially love the delicious credits pages-thank you for putting in the extra effort for those XD

What to do!? I like both Mibu and Iori. I wish Hana could be split into two. One for Mibu, and one for Iori!!
Wahh…i can’t help but feel really bad for Mibu, especially when i am still a little bitter at Iori…
haha, but thank you wingtipcafe!!!

Thank you very much for your outstanding work on scanlating this series. This is most definitely one of the best manga out there and how you translate it does it justice. I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed at the ending of Hana’s arc, not only due to who she ended up with (obviously you know who I liked better), but also due to it being somewhat left hanging. But I really do love this manga, so much so that this may be the only manga I’m looking forward to reading every released chapter immediately. Thanks so much for your hard work. :D

Dear Wingtip Cafe,
Thank you very much for your dedication to this project. This manga has been my favorite manga out of the millions I have read so far. Also, I don’t think Hana’s story ended that way. Well, I am not completely sure, but my mom read this series as well in its raw form. I won’t spoil it, but I am sure that the ending was different. Anyhow, you guys are amazing. I’ve followed you nearly for a year now :)

Gosh I was so in love with this manga. The story, the drawing style, the 3 sisters and their own unique personalities, the deep meanings and thoughts, etc I love all of them so much.
And now it’s finished it’s like saying goodbye to a lover T_T I’m gonna miss the days spent waiting for each chapter.
Thank you so much for completing such a wonderful series! Your work was excellent, especially the translating!
Arigatou gozaimasu!

that was so amazing. I sat down to read the last chapter…and almost wanted to cry! I feel like I’ve lived my whole life with these characters…they were so deep! And the ending…it was perfect. It gave closure but it allowed you to extend your imagination. You could see the pattern of humanity and the inheritance of traits and emotions, the fact that adults forget their childhood but children relive them. And those children have their own story…though they aren’t told, you can almost imagine because of what you’ve learned from their ancestry!! WOWWW i love this manga…it was amazing!!!

This brings a tear to my eye as a favourite has ended- it feels like a child moving out of the family home. I feel elated and saddened at the same time.
Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you very much to the wingtip cafe team for all your hard work and introducing this wonderful manga series to English speaking audience. It is easily one of my favourite manga series. I have no favourite amongst the three main characters, each of the sisters have their own appeals and I have thoroughly enjoy each of their story. The ending was quite moving..how true that we soon forget all our childhood distress when we become parents ourselves.
