  13. ARRRGH! I want to know what happen next! This manga made me hunt down the original, and now I love it even more (I much prefer this version to the original). Kira’s handling of ‘his’ wife is awesome, and the emperor’s jealousy is very entertaining. I’m really curious(so curious I want to buy the japanese version), but amazon doesn’t have number 3 - 4 in stock. Thank you for scanlating this, and i hope you will updates soon - this is my favorite wingtip project.

Thank you for the new chapter! now I’m back to square 1 trying to stop myself from surfing the web for anything “the change”-related. lol. when will Chapter 8 come out? does anyone know where I can read the novel? the wikipedia only talks about the original work. Hope this manga will be a bit different from the original work. Does anyone know what happen at the end???

  40. Yay complete volume 2! I love this thing, in no small part because I really like “Torikaebaya Monogatari” — despite the “everything’s back to normal thanks very much” ending.
    BTW, I don’t know whether you want to update your description, but it’s slightly misleading: the manga by YAMAUCHI Naomi is an adaptation of a modern novel by HIMURO Saeko, which was in turn based on “Torikaebaya Monogatari”. (See the Wikipedia article for details.)

I love this manga and as I was searching for more… I found that there is actually a book on this.. translated into english, right now it’s $86 on amazon.com I think that is a little too expensive.. but ‘The Changelings’ really is a good story.. the relationship between the characters is perfectly complex.. I never knew things could get so complicated when one changes genders.. lol
